RCCSD to Offer Free Breakfast & Lunch to Students for 2023-24 School Year
The Red Creek Central School District is proud to announce that it has been approved to participate in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP). It will allow all students enrolled in the district to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge for the 2023-24 school year.
“Good nutrition is essential for learning,” said Red Creek Central School District, Superintendent Matthew VanOrman. “That’s why we are thrilled that we are able to provide free lunches to our students for the upcoming school year.”
The CEP, which operates under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs, will reduce burdens for families and ensure every child has nutritious meals during the school year.
This is the first year of the program at Red Creek Central School District.
In order to continue to provide this opportunity and the many other services Red Creek Schools are able to give to our students, we are asking families to complete and return the Income Eligibility Form. The information you provide will be used to establish eligibility for state aid, grants, discounted college tuition and other state and federally run programs. The application will be mailed out in the coming weeks. It can also be found on our website by clicking here.
